Terms of sale

1. Purpose and scope

These Terms of Sale govern purchases of Jenevah products made on this site. The seller is Giovanni Mana Mouyabi, sole trader (auto-entrepreneur) registered in France under SIRET 851 844 290 00011, registered address 1 square Léon de Bertalot, 92400 Courbevoie, France. Placing an order implies full acceptance of these terms.

2. Products

Jenevah sells a leather-bound, combination-locked book for storing cash at home, described as accurately as possible on the product page. Jenevah cannot be held liable for a minor error or omission in that description that a reasonable buyer would not consider material.

3. Prices

Prices are shown in US dollars (USD) and include all taxes displayed at checkout. Jenevah may change its prices at any time; the price that applies is the one shown when your order is confirmed.

4. Orders

An order is confirmed once payment is validated. A confirmation email is sent at that point. Jenevah reserves the right to cancel or decline an order from a customer with an unresolved dispute over a previous order.

5. Payment

Payment is due immediately on ordering. Payments are encrypted and processed by our payment providers; Jenevah never stores your full card details.

6. Shipping

Orders ship free, with no minimum, across the contiguous United States. Delivery typically takes 5–9 business days from order confirmation. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed date, and a delay by itself does not entitle the customer to damages unless it results from Jenevah's own serious fault.

7. Returns and the right of withdrawal

Jenevah offers every customer 14 days from delivery to return an order, provided the book comes back in the condition it arrived in — unused, with no marks or damage to the leather or the lock. Full details, including how to start a return, are in our Return Policy.

Customers located in France or elsewhere in the European Union additionally benefit from the statutory right of withdrawal under Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, which runs for 14 days from delivery and does not depend on the product's condition on return, though excessive handling beyond what's needed to examine the product may reduce the refund. Where the two overlap, whichever is more favorable to the customer applies.

8. Legal warranties

Where French or EU consumer law applies to your purchase, your order is covered by the legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the legal guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code), on top of any commercial guarantee. Customers outside the EU retain whatever statutory protections apply under their own local law; nothing in these terms limits those rights.

9. Liability

Jenevah cannot be held liable for a failure to perform the contract caused by a stock shortage, force majeure, or a total or partial disruption of postal services or carriers.

11. Consumer mediation

For customers covered by French consumer law, and in accordance with Article L616-1 of the French Consumer Code, an unresolved dispute with our customer service (jenevah.store@gmail.com) can be referred free of charge to the following consumer mediator: [[ Name and contact details of an approved consumer mediator — required before launch if you sell to French or EU consumers. ]].

12. Governing law

These Terms of Sale are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to seek an amicable resolution before taking legal action.
